Chris Noble is the co-founder of VitaDog Nutrition, a premium daily supplement formulated to deliver the same standard of nutritional support to dogs that their owners expect for themselves.

How VitaDog started

Chris’s path to canine nutrition started with Cosmo, the dog who was with him from his teens into his early twenties. Cosmo was his closest companion, gentle and easygoing, happiest outside in the garden. In his final years Cosmo declined quickly: multiple operations, cancer, chronic allergies that never resolved, weight that slowed him down until the long walks he loved were no longer possible. The common thread, Chris later realised, was diet. Not neglect, but the nutritional gaps nobody had thought to fill.

In the years that followed, Chris went on his own health journey. He had suffered from chronic sinusitis and was getting sick every month. Pharmaceuticals and surgery had not resolved it. Supplementation did. After optimising his stack and becoming serious about what he was putting into his body, the illnesses stopped. That experience reframed everything: he understood, first-hand, what consistent nutritional support could do for a body, and how invisible the absence of it had been in Cosmo’s life. Two years of R&D and 24 formulation iterations later, VitaDog Nutrition launched in August 2025 with more than 40 active ingredients in a single daily serving.

Before VitaDog

Before VitaDog Nutrition, Chris spent his career in Silicon Valley working alongside founders of high-growth startups and scale-ups, driving revenue across sales, marketing, and product. A portion of that work was with health-tech platforms, where claims have to stand up to scrutiny and customer trust is earned over years and lost in a single misstep. That experience shaped how he thinks about VitaDog: a category where the science has to be defensible, the formulation has to be honest, and the standard has to be higher than the industry has historically demanded.

Editorial review

Every article published on the VitaDog blog is reviewed by Chris before it goes live. Health and nutrition claims are cross-referenced against the peer-reviewed veterinary literature indexed on PubMed, AVMA position statements, and primary research published in journals such as the Journal of Animal Science and the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Where a claim cannot be supported by credible scientific evidence, it is not published.
